Rajiv Kaplish was born on September 12, 1981, in Banga, Punjab, India. His hometown is Ludhiana, Punjab, and he hasn’t disclosed information regarding his father and mother. Roshan attended the Sutlej Public School in Banga.
Later, he enrolled at Amardeep Singh Shergill Memorial College, before studying Faculty of Music and Fine Arts at the University of Delhi graduating with an M.A. in Music. Additionally, Roshan earned a diploma in Sangeet Shiromani from the same University in Delhi.
