Andrea Jeremiah was born to an Anglo-Indian household on December 25, 1985, in Arakkonam, Tamil Nadu. She was raised in a well-settled family where her father served as a lawyer at the Madras High Court in Chennai.

In 2006, Andrea sang the song “We Have a Romeo” for the Telugu film “Bommarillu”. That same year, she recorded three more tracks Karka Karka, Zara, and Gili for Tamil and Telugu films.
